Crescent Lake Watershed Restoration Grant
Ecological Instincts served as the grant administrator for this two-year project, in collaboration with the Town of Raymond, FB Environmental, Maine DEP, the Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District, and local watershed groups.
The project involved conducting site visits with landowners, road associations, and youth camps to recommended conservation practices that prevent soil erosion from entering Crescent Lake. The project involved organizing two public workshops, six steering committee meetings, and overseeing $38,000 in cost-share funds to area residents.
